LittleLights day nursery is a Christian charity run nursery registered with OFSTED to provide care from children aged 3 months old to 5 years old.

 

Our nursery was established in September 2016 with a heart and vision to serve our local community via affordable childcare. In 2019 we were rated GOOD by OFSTED. Our slogan is “LittleLights Lighting Up Our World” and it is our belief that children should be encouraged to grow to their full potential and it is our privilege to help them to do so.

 

Providing tailored development plans for children

 

LittleLights is a small nursery and has a capacity of 50 children.  At LittleLights, we can provide a child with more attention and opportunities to develop as we are able to get to know each child’s interests and abilities and adapt our approach to support them as they develop through nursery education into their next phase of education. 

 

We welcome children and parents of other or no faith also and actively celebrate different faith celebrations and are sensitive to each parent’s individual requirements.

 

EYFS Statutory Framework at our core

 

We follow the guidelines set out in the Early Years’ Foundation Stage (EYFS) : Aiming for setting the standard for Learning, Development and Care for children from birth to five. This is a quality assured system which we are able to continually review, evaluate and update our practices.

 

LittleLights is part of a Christian organisation with several different spheres of influence including English as a Second Language lessons, tuition towards the eleven plus exam and running a foodbank outlet.
